Established 1969
OSA Fine Spirits first produced Clubhouse Whisky over 50 years ago connecting Scotland’s two greatest gifts to the world; Golf and Whisky. The first bottle of Clubhouse rolled off the production line in 1969 and the unique round dimpled bottle immediately grabbed the attention of the whisky media. A common headline being, ‘Clubhouse Blended Scotch Whisky – Beautiful bottle but is the Whisky any good?’. The answer to this question has always been followed with a resounding “Yes, excellent.” Clubhouse has won numerous platinum and gold Whisky awards and rated ‘89/100 Great’ in the Whisky Bible. OSA Fine Spirits are the official Whisky supplier to UK Parliament, where Clubhouse is the chosen whisky of the House of Lords. The key ingredients which help make our Clubhouse blend so desirable are the Islay and Speyside malts. The Islay adds a peaty and smoky hint and the Speyside a rich and fruity character, which is recognised as being at the heart of all good blends. This combination results in Clubhouse’s unique and cherished flavour.
Over 50 years of experience in blending and distillation, plus access to a vast range of malts, means our blenders are able to encapsulate these unique and cherished flavours in the entirety of OSA Fine Spirits’ whiskies. Using these skills, the Gorton Family have now extended the OSA portfolio to include premium gins and a luxury vodka as part of the Diamond Spirits range and introduced a 5 year old Panama Rum from a partnering distillery in the Caribbean.
The distinctive round Clubhouse bottle can be found in many duty free stores around the world, is distributed to over 50 countries and has become very famous through the years with Dennis Thatcher even seen sipping from a miniature pulled from his golf bag during a round.
