OSA Fine Spirits has always been a family business and the second generation is now taking over the sales and marketing of our highly successful portfolio, which has always had Scotch Whisky at its heart. The range has now been extended to include premium gins and luxury vodka, all presented in our uniquely distinctive way –

Our Scotch Whisky blenders have been in the whisky trade for over 75 years and have become distillery owners in their own right. This expertise combining the knowledge and skills of both blending and distillation, with the wide range of grain and malt whiskies available to our blenders, is captured in OSA Fine Spirits cherished flavours.

In addition to our traditional high quality standard blends, OSA Fine Spirits also offers a range of Blended Malt Scotch Whiskies, each of which has it’s own separate and distinctive character, as indicated by its name. We are often asked what goes into each malt blend and that is a classified secret known only to the OSA Fine Spirits blend master.

This is what we could get him to tell us…
‘It is difficult to provide a specific answer to the blend mix question. Each of the blended malts has between 12 and 18 single malts in the recipe carefully chosen to complement each other. Our blended malts include malts from Speyside, Highland, Islay and the Islands and it is this diversity which gives the complex flavours.’

He also says:

‘It is wrong to compare with single malts as the descriptor “single” does not guarantee quality. A blended malt using good malts matured in good wood (including sherry and bourbon casks) would always be better than a single malt from an inferior distillery filled into poor wood.’

… and that is all that we could get out of him. We can also reveal that about half the malt whisky is matured in bourbon casks and the remainder in sherry wood cask

OSA Fine Spirits Whiskies are enjoyed world wide and are popular in over thirty five countries. In addition to being sold in many of the leading UK on-line and retail outlets, we are also the official whisky provides to UK Parliament: the House Of Commons brand.
